Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Interface Manager to lead the definition, governance, and closure of interfaces across a large multi-subcontractor environment on the Fab 62 project in Chandler, AZ. You will own the interface management process end-to-end, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning handoffs with formal accountability and documented controls.

Qualifications

• Experience managing interfaces in multi-subcontractor projects.
• Ability to read critical path schedules and drive closure.
• Proven written/verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own interface management plan and governance with project team.
• Serve as single point of accountability for subcontractor interfaces.
• Chair cross-subcontractor interface meetings and resolve conflicts.
• Define and maintain interface points between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
• Maintain interface register and related documents; assign owners and approvers.
• Embed interface requirements in bids and contracts; track long-lead items.
• Align interface information with schedule milestones and field sequences.
