Job summary

New York Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Interaction Designer to craft intuitive, user-centered experiences across web and mobile. You will work with product strategists, researchers, creatives, and engineers to balance user needs with business goals while maintaining craft and accessibility standards.

The role requires 5+ years in interaction or product design, a strong portfolio, and proven experience with design systems and Figma.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in interaction or product design.
Agency or consulting experience for multiple clients.
Strong portfolio with end-to-end interaction design.
Deep understanding of IA, accessibility, and user-centered design.
Experience designing responsive web and mobile apps.
Proficient with Figma and modern design workflows.
Experience building design systems and reusable components.
Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design intuitive user experiences, interaction models, user flows, and interfaces for web and mobile.
Translate business needs, user insights, and strategy into user-centered solutions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs throughout the product lifecycle.
Contribute to scalable design systems, UI patterns, and component libraries.
Collaborate with product, researchers, engineers, strategists, and creatives to realize concepts.
Present design rationale to clients and stakeholders clearly.
