Job summary

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) at Headquarters in Washington, DC seeks an Intelligence Operations Specialist (GS-14) to support the Office of Intelligence Operations.

Qualified candidates will have specialized experience in intelligence information acquisition, dissemination of raw information, planning regional collection efforts, and producing/releasing reports in compliance with applicable laws and Departmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience demonstrating knowledge of intelligence information acquisition and research methodologies.
• Experience identifying and disseminating raw information to support intelligence programs and collection plans.
• Ability to plan and direct regional collection efforts from need identification to delivering fused intelligence.
• Experience producing and releasing raw intelligence reports while balancing source protection and legal compliance.
