The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) at Headquarters in Washington, DC seeks an Intelligence Operations Specialist (GS-14) to support the Office of Intelligence Operations.
Qualified candidates will have specialized experience in intelligence information acquisition, dissemination of raw information, planning regional collection efforts, and producing/releasing reports in compliance with applicable laws and Departmental regulations.
This position is located in the Office of Intelligence Operations, Operational Intelligence Division (OID), Analysis Production Branch at the ATF Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The OID mission is to provide a full range of synchronized intelligence to support ATF, federal partners, and customers to protect public safety and combat firearms trafficking and violence.
To qualify for the Intelligence Operations Specialist position at the GS-14 grade level, you must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume.
To qualify for this position at the GS-14 grade level, candidates must meet the following specialized experience by the closing date of this announcement.
Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience must include all of the following:
