Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking an experienced IT/ Intelligence specialist in Huntsville, AL to support J2 IT requirements, secure communications, and survivable systems with a TS/SCI clearance (CI Poly preferred). The role involves planning, coordination with J3/J6, and ensuring readiness of COOP facilities.

Desirable candidates have 12+ years in related labor categories, with advanced education options including a related master’s degree or a BA with 5 additional senior years of experience.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience related to the labor category, with recent experience within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and managing J2 IT requirements to integrate secure, assured, survivable intelligence communications and systems for rapid, real-time re-tasking and re-targeting capabilities.
• Ensures J2 COOP facilities are maintained in a ready-for-operations configuration.
• Assists in managing intelligence/other software applications including requirements, justifications, and installation.
• Conducts future intelligence IT system planning in coordination with J3 and J6.
• Documents intelligence requirements/architecture, captures customer needs, advocates capabilities, and maintains/improves architecture.

Education

Master's Degree in related field

Bachelor's degree + 5 years senior experience substitute to master's

Security Clearance

Security clearance required TS/SCI with a CI POLY or the ability to obtain one.

Job Requirements

• Assists in the planning and management of J2 IT requirements to integrate, and provide secure, assured, survivable, and readily accessible intelligence communications and computer systems to provide analysis capabilities that foster rapid, collaborative planning, execution, and real-time re-tasking and re-targeting capabilities.
• Ensures J2 COOP facilities are maintained in a "ready for operations" configuration.

• Conducts future intelligence IT system planning in coordination with J3 and J6.

Desired Experience

• 12 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Desired Education

• Master’s Degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education: or have a bachelor’s degree related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related Senior experience for a total of 17 years, as a substitute to the master’s degree.
