Job summary

Intero Integrity Services is seeking a Senior Integrity Engineer based in Europe, working remotely with hybrid options near an Intero office. You will apply fracture mechanics, corrosion growth, and rigorous judgment to deliver actionable integrity assessments for pipelines and pressure equipment.

As the first Europe-based member of the Integrity team, you will review junior engineers, develop tools, and ensure compliance with standards such as API 579, ASME PCC-2, and DNV-RP-F101, while

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical and/or Materials Engineering (Master's strong plus).
• At least 5 years in structural integrity of pressurised equipment, pipelines preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fracture mechanics, corrosion and fatigue damage mechanisms.
• Familiarity with API 579 / ASME FFS-1, API 530, ASME B31G, DNV-RP-F101, API 1183, ASME VIII Div. 2, ASME PCC-2.
• Experience with risk assessments and turning results into actionable recommendations.
• Proficient in Python, VBA or MATLAB for engineering problems.
• Ability to write clear technical reports and explain topics to varied audiences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level 1 and Level 2 FFS assessments and CGA; Level 3 FFS where needed.
• Review junior engineers' work against codes and standards.
• Act as technical contact for project managers and clients on integrity questions.
• Align recommendations with local and national regulations across jurisdictions.
• Validate and help develop in-house engineering tools; write scripts to automate evaluations.
• Set up internal procedures and quality checklists for deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and flag risks early.
