Job summary

Uber is seeking a Senior Integrations Application Developer on the Enterprise Performance Management team. You will bridge upstream data systems with downstream financial consumers, owning cross-system data initiatives and guiding technical changes in Oracle EBS, HFM, FCCS, and EPBCS.

You’ll design development and testing plans, coordinate across EPB owners and data-source teams, and ensure data quality, performance, and resilience of our financial pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in financial systems integration, application development, or data engineering.
• A blend of an accounting/financial analyst background alongside robust technical execution skills.
• Extensive experience developing and integrating within EPM systems (e.g., Oracle EPBCS, HFM, FCCS) and core ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS)
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial and accounting requirements into scalable technical system specifications.
• Experience working with and analyzing large data volumes is a must

Responsibilities

• Process and System Expertise: Maintain an intimate knowledge of the Uber Finance data model and data flow. Act as a subject matter expert regarding the sources we pull from to build our P&L, Balance Sheet, and Operational Metrics.
• Design and Oversight: Collaborate closely with Application owners when assessing new integrations or proposed changes to existing ones. Define robust development and testing plans for upstream source changes, downstream system consumers, and system cutovers.
• Project Execution: Coordinate cross-functionally with EPB Application owners as well as upstream data source owners throughout the development process. Develop and amend the data pipelines required to adopt upstream changes.
• Engineering Excellence: Ensure stability, performance, and accuracy of financial data pipelines. Monitor data flow integrity and quality checks; define proactive alerting mechanisms.
• Guide Financial Transformations: Consult with accounting/finance partners on downstream impact and design technical solutions to accommodate changes in systems like Oracle EBS or HFM/FCCS
