Job summary

Yoh Services LLC is seeking a Senior Integration & Test Engineer for Vision Pipelines to join the Sensor Firmware team in California. You will own the integration and verification of embedded software for the camera sensing system and help ensure safe, efficient vision pipelines.

Responsibilities include developing V&V plans, building test automation in Python and C++, designing test cases, and debugging bench failures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 4 years of Robotics or related field.
• 5 Years of strong experience in integration testing and developing embedded vision systems using C++ and Python.
• Strong software design, algorithm, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience with multi-processor SoCs or similar embedded processors used in camera and vision processing.
• Experience developing software for safety-critical sensing systems is a plus.

Senior Integration & Test Engineer - Vision Pipelines

The Sensor Firmware team is responsible for developing the sensor drivers, safety monitoring, and developing the vision pipeline to feed perception. As an embedded software engineer on the sensor firmware team, you will be responsible for the integration and test of the embedded software for the camera sensing system. We're looking for someone who has a passion and expertise in developing safe, efficient software for vision systems.

What you'll do:

• Develop V&V plans for the vision/camera subsystem that spans unit tests, software integration and hardware integration tests.
• Develop simulation infrastructure and mock layers for unit and integration testing of software that controls the hardware accelerators.
• Design Integration Test plan and test cases for requirements based and fault injection testing.
• Develop test automation scripts in python/C++and maintain the tests to stay healthy in CI.
• Triage and Troubleshoot bench failures and recommend/provide fixes.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and 4 years of Robotics, or experience in a related field.
• 5 Years of strong experience in integration testing and developing embedded vision systems using C++ and python.
• Strong software design, algorithm, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Experience with multi-processor SoCs or similar embedded processors used in camera and vision processing.
• Prefer candidates with experience developing software for highly complex, safety-critical sensing systems.

Nice to have (optional):

• Strong knowledge and experience working on Camera drivers and camera pipelines using hardware accelerators such as ISP and encoders.
• Track record of technical leadership in automotive or related fields taking products to production.

Estimated Min Rate: $60.00

Estimated Max Rate: $80.00
