Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Northampton, MA is seeking a Sr. Spec, Integration & Test Engineer to define test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. You will coordinate integration from component to system level and guide cross-functional teams on design and verification.

The role requires strong project management experience, technical leadership, and the ability to obtain a US DOD Secret Clearance. Willingness to travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; minimum 6 years of integration/test experience, or 4 years with graduate degree, or 10 years without degree.
• Be able to obtain US DOD Secret Clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Proficient with IBM Rational DOORS, Test Rail, MBSE, JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership as I&T Lead with an IPT lead on product development issues.
• Mentor engineers on I&T practices and lessons learned from submarine and surface imaging system designs.
• Manage System Qualification CAM responsibilities including schedules, quotes, and estimates.
• Coordinate with I&T commodity teams for requirements flow-down and support design reviews (SDR/PDR/CDR).
• Develop test plans, procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, and validation activities.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
