Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Integration Engineer to drive geolocation program innovation, focusing on containerized deployments with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Ceph. The role supports mission-critical networks and requires strong Linux expertise and CI/CD practices.

The candidate will design, test, and document integration efforts, perform root cause analysis, and provide Tier 3 support in a fast-paced, secure environment. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• TS//SCI clearance with Maryland location requirement.
• Experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• Integrate FOSS or COTS products and test/evaluate new releases prior to deployment.
• Package deliverables and create installation and system administration documentation.
• Implement containerization solutions and distributed data object store.
• Design solutions with development teams and integrate applications with Kubernetes.
• Decompose requirements into user stories and implement solutions with team members.
• Perform root cause analysis, MR reviews, Helm chart generation, and troubleshooting.
• Provide Tier 3 support to end users as needed.
