Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior Associate Integration Engineer to join our team in Atlanta and Chicago with a hybrid 4 days on-site. You will design, build, test, deploy, and support integration solutions enabling API-led digital transformation for enterprise clients.

You will work hands-on with AWS, API gateway technologies, microservices, and modern integration patterns to evolve brands toward a more digital future.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing integration solutions using microservices architecture and API-led patterns.
• AWS experience is required, including practical experience building, deploying, or supporting cloud-based integration solutions.
• API gateway experience is required, including designing, configuring, securing, and supporting APIs through an enterprise API gateway.
• Experience with REST-based service design and implementation, preferably using Java/Spring Boot and/or Node.js.
• Hands‑on Java experience sufficient to build, deploy, troubleshoot, and support Java-based integration components.
• Experience with integration patterns, service orchestration, API security, error handling, logging, and resiliency practices.
• Experience with scripting technologies such as JavaScript.
• Ability to collaborate with client stakeholders, architects, product teams, and engineering teams in a delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, build, test, deploy, and support integration solutions across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Build reusable templates, boilerplate code, and accelerators to enable faster delivery and predictable quality.
• Define and apply integration engineering best practices, including performance testing, platform configuration, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with architects and delivery teams to ensure integration solutions align with enterprise standards and client outcomes.
• Support technology exploration and contribute to engineering knowledge-sharing through documentation, examples, and reusable patterns.
