Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior Associate Integration Engineer for Atlanta/Chicago with hybrid work (4 days on-site). You will design, build, test, deploy, and support integration solutions using API-led patterns, microservices, and AWS with enterprise gateways.

You’ll contribute to architecture, RFPs, and delivery, while advancing automation, monitoring, and knowledge sharing across teams. Strong Java/Spring or Node.js, plus API gateway expertise, are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and implementing integration solutions using microservices architecture and API-led patterns.
• AWS experience is required, including practical experience building, deploying, or supporting cloud-based integration solutions.
• API gateway experience is required, including designing, configuring, securing, and supporting APIs through an enterprise API gateway.
• Experience with REST-based service design and implementation, preferably using Java/Spring Boot and/or Node.js.
• Hands-on Java experience sufficient to build, deploy, troubleshoot, and support Java-based integration components.
• Experience with integration patterns, service orchestration, API security, error handling, logging, and resiliency practices.
• Experience with scripting technologies such as JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, build, test, deploy, and support integration solutions across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Build reusable templates, boilerplate code, and accelerators to enable faster delivery and predictable quality.
• Define and apply integration engineering best practices, including performance testing, platform configuration, automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with architects and delivery teams to ensure integration solutions align with enterprise standards and client outcomes.
• Support technology exploration and contribute to engineering knowledge-sharing through documentation, examples, and reusable patterns.
