Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer in a hybrid role to design and modernize enterprise integrations across ERP, CRM, and cloud platforms.

You will develop APIs, implement microservices, and drive secure, scalable solutions with DevOps practices. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience with REST, microservices, and event-driven approaches, plus hands-on expertise with integration platforms and tools.

Qualifications

  • Degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field is required.
  • 7+ years designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration.
  • Experience building APIs and applying integration patterns.
  • Strong REST API, microservices, SOA, and event-driven approaches.
  • Experience integrating ERP/CRM, manufacturing, supply chain, cloud apps.
  • Proficient with secure integrations and modern auth frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise integrations and APIs.
  • Build scalable real-time, near real-time, and batch integrations across ERP, CRM, manufacturing, and cloud platforms.
  • Modernize legacy interfaces to reusable API/microservices architectures.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs, event-driven services, and lifecycle management.
  • Apply integration patterns to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and observability capabilities.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to design, develop, and modernize enterprise integrations that connect critical business applications, data platforms, and emerging AI solutions. This hands‑on senior engineering role is responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and reusable integration solutions that support business growth, analytics, automation, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise integration, API development, microservices, and modern architecture patterns while collaborating across business and technology teams to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise integrations, APIs, and reusable services across critical business domains.
  • Build scalable real‑time, near real‑time, and batch integration solutions that connect ERP, CRM, manufacturing, supply chain, transportation, finance, and cloud platforms.
  • Modernize legacy integrations by transitioning point‑to‑point interfaces to reusable API‑ and microservices‑based architectures.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs, event‑driven services, and reusable business capabilities, including API lifecycle management, documentation, testing, and versioning.
  • Apply enterprise integration patterns and architecture best practices to improve solution scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, DevOps practices, and platform observability capabilities, including monitoring and logging.
  • Enable trusted and governed access to enterprise data through reusable integration services that support analytics, automation, and AI‑powered business capabilities.
  • Collaborate with application, data, cloud, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver integrated technology solutions.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, technology evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a senior technical contributor and mentor, promoting best practices in integration development, security, testing, and operational support.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions.
  • Experience developing APIs and implementing enterprise integration technologies and patterns.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, service‑oriented architecture, and event‑driven integration approaches.
  • Experience integrating enterprise platforms, including ERP, CRM, manufacturing, supply chain, transportation, finance, and cloud‑based applications.
  • Experience implementing secure integrations using modern authentication and authorization frameworks.
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging, event‑driven architectures, streaming technologies, or related integration approaches.
  • Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MuleSoft development experience and/or MuleSoft Developer or Architect certifications.
  • Experience with integration platforms such as Azure Integration Services, Boomi, Informatica, Kafka, Confluent, SAP Integration Suite, or similar technologies.
  • Experience designing reusable APIs, microservices, and service‑oriented solutions.
  • Experience supporting cloud‑native applications and distributed systems.
  • Exposure to AI, intelligent automation, machine learning, agent‑based solutions, or advanced analytics platforms.
  • Experience within manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or supply chain environments.
