Job summary

Blue Yonder Defense Solutions (BYDS) seeks a Distributed Systems / Integration Architect to lead the design and evolution of our enterprise-scale platform. You will define architectural patterns for distributed computing, event-driven systems, and enterprise integration across a complex ecosystem of internal and external systems.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with hands-on experience in messaging frameworks, cloud-native architectures, and API design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with distributed systems focus.
• Proven track record designing large-scale, event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on with Kafka or RabbitMQ and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Define reference architecture for distributed and integration-centric systems.
• Lead high-scale, mission-critical system design and patterns.
• Architect solutions leveraging publish/subscribe, routing, and transformation.
• Guide API design, service communication, and gateways.
• Design multi-region, containerized, cloud-native platforms.
