Job summary

EPMA is seeking a Senior Workday Integration Developer to own and evolve its enterprise integration environment. The role focuses on hands-on Workday Studio development, maintaining payroll and HR integrations, and securing reliable API connections with emerging AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise integration experience with hands-on Workday Studio development.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, XSLT and authentication protocols.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Workday integration environment, transitioning responsibilities from an external implementation partner.
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot Workday integrations, including payroll, HR and other enterprise applications.
• Design and implement integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services, RaaS and XSLT.
• Manage production support, monitoring, error handling and ongoing integration improvements.
• Develop and maintain secure API connections between enterprise applications and emerging AI solutions.

About the Opportunity

EPMA is partnering with an established national engineering and consulting organization seeking an experienced Senior Workday Integration Developer to take ownership of its enterprise integration environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Workday specialist to manage and enhance business-critical integrations while becoming increasingly involved in AI agents, intelligent automation and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Workday integration environment, transitioning responsibilities from an external implementation partner.

• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot Workday integrations, including payroll, HR and other enterprise applications.

• Design and implement integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services, RaaS and XSLT.

• Manage production support, monitoring, error handling and ongoing integration improvements.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of enterprise integration experience, with strong hands-on Workday Studio development and production support expertise.

• Experience with Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services and integration security.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain and enhance integrations developed by others.

• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, XSLT and authentication protocols.

• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently across business and technical teams.

Preferred Experience

• Python development and workflow automation.

• Exposure to AI agents, LLM APIs, Microsoft Copilot or other enterprise AI platforms.

• Experience integrating payroll, benefits, ERP or other enterprise systems.

• Familiarity with cloud integration platforms, CI/CD and secure development practices.

• Experience within engineering, consulting or professional‐services environments.
