Job summary

Orbis is seeking a Senior Integration Architect to lead end-to-end data integration across on-premises and cloud environments for a government program. You will design, build, deploy, and validate data integrations spanning sensors, C2 systems, and operational feeds, working closely with customer engineering teams.

You will mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions in a fast-moving, distributed setup.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on system integrations, data pipelines, and distributed data platforms.
• Proficiency in Go (preferred) or Python for integration development.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and deployment tooling (Terraform, Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle integration delivery from requirements to production deployment.
• Map network topology, data sources, and dependencies with customer teams.
• Mentor engineers and escalate technical issues.
• Design and build custom data connectors and plugins for cross-domain systems.
• Operate on-premises data platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Validate integrations across cloud-native, on-premises, and edge environments.
