Job summary

Orbis is seeking a Senior Integration Architect to lead end-to-end data integration delivery for a government-focused program. You will design, build, deploy, and validate complex integrations across on-premises data platforms and cloud environments, coordinating with customer teams and mentoring engineers to raise the technical bar.

The role requires deep experience in data pipelines, distributed systems, and secure, scalable architectures, with travel to the Middle East as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on system integrations, data pipelines, and distributed data platforms.
• Proficiency in Go (preferred) or Python for integration development.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and deployment tooling (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience deploying and integrating within cloud-native environments (GCP, BigQuery, Dataflow, GKE).
• Mentoring junior engineers and leading integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-lifecycle integration delivery for assigned data sources in coordination with your team.
• Drive customer technical discovery mapping network topology, data sources, and dependencies.
• Mentor Integration Engineers and maintain integration quality across the program.
• Design and build data connectors and integration plugins for diverse domains.
• Own orchestration and management of on-premises data platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and validate integrations across cloud-native, on-premises, and edge environments.
