Job summary

Coherent Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support integration initiatives for a nonprofit client. You’ll translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, collaborate with architects and developers, and document data mappings and APIs.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, clear documentation, and ongoing analysis of existing systems to improve data flows and integration reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role focused on integrations.
• Experience documenting integration requirements across source/target systems.
• Strong background with middleware and integration platforms (WSO2, MuleSoft).
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
• Collaborates closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Proficient in REST, JSON/XML and reading technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration needs and system requirements.
• Translate needs into functional/technical requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze existing systems and data flows to identify gaps and optimization opportunities.
• Define integration requirements including APIs, mappings, transformations and error handling.
• Document interface behavior and data mappings; maintain up‑to‑date documentation.
• Support root cause analysis of integration and data issues.
