What You’ll Actually Do

You’ll be a hands on leader of our insurance operations, working closely with the Director and our advisors every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Own carrier appointments and contracting. Get advisors appointed and contracted with carriers quickly and correctly.
• Manage licensing. Track state licenses, renewals, and continuing education so nothing lapses.
• Run commissions. Administer and support our insurance commission system, and resolve discrepancies before they become problems.
• Support our advisors. Help advisors move life insurance and annuity business from application to placement.
• Be the connection point. Work with carriers, advisors, compliance, and licensing teams to keep everything on track.
• Back up the Director. Step in and lead the department when needed.
• Find better ways to work. Spot repetitive tasks and broken processes, and help fix them with better workflows and technology.

We want someone who:

• Keeps a lot of plates spinning. You can manage appointments, licensing, and commissions across multiple carriers and states without dropping anything.
• Communicates well. You’re responsive and clear with advisors, carriers, and internal teams, especially when something is urgent.
• Is calm under pressure. When an advisor needs a case turned around today, you’re the person they want to call.
• Is humble and collaborative. You’re motivated by helping advisors and the team succeed.

What You’ll Bring

• Life & Health insurance license (required)
• 5+ years of insurance industry experience
• Hands on experience with carrier contracting, appointments, licensing, and commissions
• Experience supporting life insurance and annuity business
• Ability to work on-site in our Bountiful, Utah office five days a week

Nice to have:

• Annuity new business expertise
• BGA or IMO experience
• Experience supporting securities registrations
• Familiarity with Orion, Wealthbox, Redtail, or similar CRM platforms

Compensation:

Competitive base salary of $85,000 to $100,000 depending on experience, plus an annual bonus opportunity, 401(k) match, and health benefits.
