Job summary

W3Global in New York, NY is seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney for a full-time role within our established litigation team. Candidates should have a JD, be admitted to the NY bar, and possess at least five years of litigation experience in insurance defense or related personal injury matters.

The ideal attorney will manage a caseload independently, draft and respond to pleadings, and prepare matters for mediation, arbitration and trial, while maintaining strong written and oral

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the applicable state bar and in good standing.
• 5+ years of litigation experience.
• Insurance defense or related personal injury litigation experience preferred.
• Strong written, oral, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Trial experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Manage written discovery and document review.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and case exposure.
• Communicate with clients, claims professionals, and opposing counsel.
• Develop litigation and settlement strategies.
• Prepare matters for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Manage cases independently through resolution.
