Ross Jeffries, LLC seeks a Mid- to Senior-level attorney for its collegial, boutique insurance defense practice in New York. The candidate should have a minimum of four years of insurance defense experience and related litigation, with the ability to manage files and client interactions independently from day one.

A short introductory period may lead to a fully remote arrangement. NY State Bar admission and courtroom or deposition experience are required; compensation is DOE.

Job description

Our client is a collegial, boutique insurance defense firm seeking a skilled Mid- to Senior-level attorney to join their growing team. This position requires a minimum of four (4) years experience in insurance defense and related litigation matters.

The successful candidate will have the ability to independently handle files and client interactions from "day one". The Firm promotes flexibility, and the position can transition to being fully remote after a short introduction period.

Professional experience should include:

• litigation experience in: Commercial General Liability (CGL), Property, Torts, New York Labor Law (NYLL)
• excellent writing and presentation skills.
• ability to run and manage files with limited supervision
• demonstrable experience independently taking depositions.
• courtroom and trial experience considered a plus

Current admission to the New York State Bar and experience litigating in New York courts is required. Compensation DOE.
