Tyson & Mendes LLP in Houston, TX is seeking an accomplished senior litigator to lead complex insurance-defense matters, mentor junior attorneys, and shape trial strategy. A Texas bar license and 8+ years of solid litigation experience are required.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA approved law school.
• Must be licensed to practice in Texas.
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, including discovery and trials.
• Ability to manage full case handling with minimal supervision.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic case themes for high-exposure matters.
• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
• Lead and mentor junior attorneys and litigation teams.
• Maintain client communications and cultivate relationships.
