Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Senior Insurance Defense Attorney to oversee a busy insurance defense caseload in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role supports work from either Manhattan or Bellmore offices, with responsibilities spanning discovery, motions, depositions, mediations, and trial practice.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of litigation experience in insurance defense with labor law exposure, plus trial readiness and NY State Bar admission.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience in insurance defense, including labor law.
• Trial experience is essential.
• Ability to manage cases from inception through trial.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of insurance defense matters.
• Handle all aspects of insurance defense work, including reporting to adjusters.
• Conduct discovery, motions, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Employ a proactive approach to case management.
• Take cases to trial as necessary.
