Job summary

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of insurance defense and complex civil litigation experience, with active New York license in good standing and a JD degree. Competitive compensation is offered.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation docket with minimal supervision.
• Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts.
• Engage in strong motion practice, including summary judgment motions and appellate briefing.
• Make substantive courtroom appearances, including conferences, oral arguments, and mediations.
• Analyze exposure, identify litigation risks, and develop defense strategies.
• Maintain excellent client-management skills.
