A leading international law firm in Southern California seeks a Senior Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join its Los Angeles/Irvine team. Hybrid, full-time role handling sophisticated liability-policy coverage for domestic and international insurer clients.

You will lead complex coverage files, manage an active caseload independently, and collaborate with a global platform to access professional development resources.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission is required.
• 6+ years of complex insurance coverage litigation experience.
• Strong commercial general liability coverage experience.
• Federal court experience is required.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage an active caseload and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Strong academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies, claims, and coverage issues.
• Prepare coverage opinions and provide strategic advice to insurer clients.
• Conduct detailed legal research and draft memoranda.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation materials.
• Manage coverage litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution.
• Attend and support depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Prioritize and manage multiple sensitive, time-sensitive matters.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to develop practical coverage and litigation strategies.
