gpac is assisting a leading international law firm seeking a Senior Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney for its Southern California team. This hybrid, full-time role offers $200,000-$240,000 annually plus performance bonuses and access to a global platform.

The successful candidate will lead complex coverage files, independently manage an active caseload, and work with a high-performing team on sophisticated liability-policy matters across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission required.
• 6+ years of complex insurance coverage litigation experience.
• Strong commercial general liability coverage experience.
• Federal court experience required.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage an active caseload and exercise sound professional judgment.
• Strong academic credentials.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies, claims, and coverage issues
• Prepare coverage opinions and provide strategic advice to insurer clients
• Conduct detailed legal research and draft memoranda
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation materials
• Manage coverage litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution
• Attend and support depositions, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings
• Prioritize and manage multiple sensitive, time-sensitive matters
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to develop practical coverage and litigation strategies

The successful candidate will take a leadership role on complex coverage files, manage an active caseload independently, and work within a collaborative, high-performing team with access to a global platform and substantial professional-development resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Base salary of $200,000-$240,000, commensurate with experience
