AJ Chambers US in New York City seeks an Insurance Coverage & Litigation Associate with at least four years of coverage experience to join our office. Responsibilities include drafting coverage opinions, reviewing policy language, and litigating declaratory judgments and bad faith actions in New York and other jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• JD degree with strong academic credentials.
• Minimum of four years of experience handling insurance coverage matters and litigating declaratory judgement and bad faith actions.
• Experience with coverage assessments involving private equity, fiduciary, errors and omissions, D&O, professional liability, CGL, and property policies.
• Ability to manage declaratory judgement and bad faith litigation from inception through trial, including drafting pleadings and briefs, discovery, depositions, and legal research.
• Experience in both state and federal courts.

Responsibilities

• Draft coverage opinions and review policy language.
• Litigate declaratory judgments and bad faith actions in NY and other jurisdictions.
• Provide a broad range of insurance coverage services to clients.
• Collaborate with clients and partners on complex coverage matters.
