Job summary

Chelsea Search Group is seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join our team in a role offering a flexible, hybrid work arrangement or remote work opportunities. The ideal candidate will work with Partners on coverage matters and advise clients on a range of insurance topics.

The position requires NJ and NY admission with 5+ years of coverage litigation experience across NY and NJ, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in NJ and NY.
• 5+ years of coverage litigation experience in NY/NJ and beyond.
• Experience in insurance coverage opinions (CGL, Excess, Professional Liability, D&O, Property).
• Experience in both third-party and first-party claims.
• Superior analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on insurance coverage matters.
• Draft coverage opinions and coverage position letters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and handle discovery in coverage litigation.
