The role emphasizes stand-alone insurance coverage practice within a premier platform, handling CGL, professional liability, property and casualty matters.

You will draft opinions, reservations of rights, and engage in discovery, depositions, and motions while collaborating with carriers and underwriters on sophisticated coverage disputes

Qualifications

• 4+ years of insurance coverage experience.
• Strong policy interpretation and coverage advisory background.
• Experience with CGL, professional liability, property, casualty and/or related coverage.
• Active New York Bar admission.

Responsibilities

• Advise insurers on coverage analysis and policy interpretation.
• Draft coverage opinions, reservation-of-rights and disclaimer correspondence.
• Manage discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, mediation and arbitration.
• Work directly with carriers, underwriters and experienced coverage partners.
