Job summary

Colonial Group in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced insurance professional to provide customer service and overall service for assigned clients and policies. Responsibilities include soliciting new business on existing accounts and supporting Producer-led renewals and new business efforts.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with a focus on accuracy, adherence to licensing CE requirements, and timely handling of renewals and client inquiries.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent, plus related experience
• Six (6) or more years related work experience
• Valid Insurance License
• Must meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal

Responsibilities

• Supports Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects
• Initiates renewal process for existing clients and discusses renewal strategy with Producer
• Analyzes exposures and negotiates rates, reviews quotes and coverages
• Binds insurance coverage and prepares binders or certificates
• Reviews policies for accuracy and compliance with contracts
• Prepares summaries and schedules of coverage for clients
• Contacts clients regarding receivables and collectsFees
• Participates in the claims process as directed by management
• Provides technical guidance to staff and notifies brokers of pertinent client information
• Meets with clients as needed or directed by Producer
