First MainStreet Insurance (FMSI), a TrueNorth entity, seeks a Senior Account Manager for Wegner Insurance in Sumner, IA. You will maintain client relationships, manage a portfolio, and help ensure client satisfaction and retention.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a High-Performance Team, proactive communication, and growth opportunities for client accounts within the insurance landscape.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service and/or customer relationship management.
• Willingness to obtain license within 30 days of hire, if not currently licensed.
• Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic PowerPoint.
• Exposure to agency management software tools, such as Epic.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret insurance-related data.
• Active commitment to staying informed on industry developments and trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Foster and maintain client relationships by managing a book of business that may or may not have Risk Advisor or Account Specialist support.
• Serve as a contributing member of a high-performance team driving client service.
• Regularly communicate with accounts to address concerns, gather feedback and identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor and report client information to help minimize exposures.
• Seek opportunities to round out accounts to maximize coverage and retention.
• Market new business and/or renewal business, with or without a Risk Advisor.
• Accurately manage account activity in EPIC and meet deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
