Job summary

Austin Industrial (Insulation Leadman) seeks a skilled tradesperson to install, inspect, and seal insulation on varied structures including ducts, pipes, tanks, and boilers. Responsibilities include blueprint interpretation, material preparation, and working at heights to ensure temperature control and noise reduction across industrial sites.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of Journeyman experience; medical, dental, life and disability insurance, plus a 401K and ESOP participation are offered

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience – 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and selects required insulation material.
• Work at heights with no fear.
• Brush adhesives on or attach metal adhesive application to insulation material.
• Determine the amounts and selects required insulation material (sheet, tubular, or roll) based on heat retention and surface.
• Measure and cut insulation material to size and shape for covering surfaces.
• Fit, wrap or attach insulation following blueprint specifications.
• Seal insulation to structures using covers, tape, or caulking.
