Job summary
Tropicana Brands Group seeks a Trades 7 Instrumentation Tech to support Electrical and Instrumentation at our Bradenton, FL plant. The role will plan, lay out, install, repair and maintain electrical equipment and circuitry across the facility.
Ideal candidates have 8+ years in Electrical/Instrumentation with 2+ years in Instrument, Measurement, and Control. Proficiency in PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and safety compliance is required. Onsite work and relocation flexibility are expected.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in Electrical & Instrumentation field.
- At least 2 years in Instrument, Measurement and Control or equivalent training.
- Experience installing, maintaining and repairing automatic controls and transformers.
- Proficient in troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs and related electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lay out, install, repair and maintain electrical equipment and circuitry.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs and VFDs; modify control logic with authorization.
- Trace schematics, wire diagrams and wiring codes for upgrades and repairs.
- Operate bucket truck/man-lift and read technical manuals.
- Ensure safety rules, GMPs and proper documentation at all times.
