Job summary

Florida’s Natural Growers in Lake Wales, FL, is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial setting.

You will work with PLCs, DCS, and SCADA, read diagrams, and ensure safe operation; 2+ years in industry and a technical credential are preferred. Prepare for overtime as needed; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma, associate degree, or certification in electrical, instrumentation, or a related field is required or two years in lieu.
• 2+ years in an industrial environment with hands-on electrical/instrumentation maintenance.
• Proficiency with PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems; knowledge of ISA/NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission electrical and instrumentation equipment (sensors, transmitters, controllers, switches, VFDs).
• Install and troubleshoot PLC equipment and plant instrumentation (level transmitters, flow meters, pressure sensors).
• Read diagrams, schematics, and control wiring diagrams; set up PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Perform routine maintenance; troubleshoot faults; recalibrate instruments and test accuracy.
• Record calibration data and maintain logs; ensure safety per OSHA/NEC.
