Job summary

Powerserve Technologies, Inc. is seeking a motivated Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems across industrial and utility projects in Florida.

This role targets entry to mid-level technicians who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the I&C field. You will work under Lead Technicians and Supervisors, contributing directly to field execution and project success.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot control systems including PLC-based components.
• Willingness to travel throughout Florida and work in outdoor/industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test instrumentation and control wiring, panels, and devices.
• Assist with calibration and commissioning of instruments (flow, level, pressure, temperature).
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot control systems including PLC-based components.
• Support startup and commissioning activities at project sites.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on I&C equipment.
