Job summary

The University of North Florida seeks a DAQ hardware engineer to develop sensors, I/O devices, and chassis as part of the APT effort, including the HVS machines, HVS Test Tracks, and both Test Roads. The role will be responsible for the design, selection, testing, installation, calibration, and maintenance of the DAQ hardware.

They will work closely with the Senior Instrumentation Software Engineer to ensure seamless integration of the comprehensive DAQ effort.

Qualifications

• Background in DAQ hardware development and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of existing APT DAQ hardware such as sensors, controls boards
• Coordinate the testing and calibration of sensors
• Develop Installation Protocols focused on embedded sensors
• Development of Lessons Learned document detailing successes and failures of chosen sensors, calibration procedures, installation procedures, etc.
