Job summary

Waters Corporation, in collaboration with TA Instruments, seeks a Manufacturing Technician to join the team responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing analytical instruments.

The role involves electronics and mechanical work, preparing instruments for shipment, data analysis, and independent problem-solving. An associate degree in electronics or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with digital and analog circuits is required.
• Knowledge of PC-based instrument control and data analysis is essential.
• Ability to think critically and resolve issues and non-routine problems.
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair analytical instruments and service parts to establish specs and test procedures.
• Analyze instrument test data and evaluate performance per specifications.
• Perform mechanical and electrical work/rework as needed.
• Prepare instruments for final shipment, including configuration and pack-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
