Job summary

Worley is seeking a Principal Instrumentation Controls Systems Engineer to join our team in Monrovia, CA. You will provide detailed instrumentation and controls system engineering design and support the project team from a technical perspective.

Responsibilities include leading I&C deliverables, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with standards, and mentoring junior staff across medium to mega projects. Extensive experience in PLC/DCS, HMI, and SPI is required.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree; typically 12 years' experience.
• Registered PE preferred or able to obtain license.
• FSE certification preferred; oil and gas experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide instrumentation and controls engineering on medium to mega projects.
• Ensure quality, cost, and schedule requirements are met.
• Lead design work and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Mentor junior personnel as needed.
