Qualifications

• Will possess a BSEE with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to design, develop, and test electrical equipment, components or systems.
• Understands the fundamentals of process control.
• Must apply mathematical and engineering principles to electrical designs.
• Must conduct research to produce design solutions and improvements.
• Will demonstrate expertise to junior engineers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with customers.
• Must be able to travel, sometimes overnight to customer sites.
• Will have ability to support on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Meet customer requirements while applying knowledge of NFPA codes including NEC and standards for oil and gas, and chemical industries.
• Design grounding, heat trace, lighting, panel layouts, single line, and three-line diagrams for low voltage systems.
• Size cable tray and conduit.
• Commission and provide post startup support for the engineering designs.
• Support customer contracts for 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance.
