Job summary

Strata-G, LLC in Oak Ridge, TN, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer/Instrument & Controls to develop high‑quality design packages, provide field technical support, and troubleshoot plant systems.

The role emphasizes instrumentation/controls for process equipment, NEC and ISA standards, and design of control cabinets, diagrams, and P&IDs. A PE is preferred; BS E.E. and 10+ years’ experience required; RSLogix/FactoryTalk knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls design.
• Experience in electrical design for process facilities and control systems.
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix, FactoryTalk View) is preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC standards and ISA guidelines is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design packages, including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Provide engineering procurement support and field technical assistance for project implementations.
• Perform plant walkdowns to generate design documents and support craft personnel.
• Apply electrical engineering principles to plant equipment control and monitoring.
