Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC in Fayetteville, AR or Tulsa, OK is seeking a Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer to design electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial facilities. You will produce detailed drawings, calculations, load and I/O lists, cable routing, and BOMs, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.

The role requires hands-on field evaluations, coordination with multi-disciplinary teams, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
8–20 years of electrical/instrumentation design experience.
Experience with industrial/process facilities and onshore oil/gas projects.
Strong knowledge of design docs, calculations, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical and instrument design documents, layouts, 3D models and calculations.
Ensure designs comply with client specs, codes, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare load lists, I/O lists, cable schedules, routing plans, grounding plans, wiring diagrams.
Perform cable tray and conduit sizing, routing, and BOMs.
Verify equipment meets safety, performance, and project specs.
Coordinate with disciplines, clients, suppliers, and site teams to resolve issues.
Support budgets and monitor hours, expenses, and resources.
Conduct site visits and field evaluations to validate designs.
Prepare proposals and cost estimates for engineering services.
Build strong client relationships through communication and timely coordination.
