Job summary

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing, seeks an instrumentation specialist to join its Puerto Rico/USA team. You will provide advanced instrumentation and process control support across manufacturing and analytical environments, calibrating, troubleshooting, installing, and documenting complex systems.

The role requires GMP knowledge, experience with calibration and maintenance, and proficiency with Maximo CMMS.

Qualifications

Associate degree in instrumentation or related area.
1+ year instrumentation experience, preferably in regulated environments.
GMP regulations and compliance in pharma/med device environments.
Experience with basic calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Maximo CMMS for work orders and preventive maintenance.
Ability to read and maintain GMP-compliant docs.
Night shift availability: 5:00am–5:30pm.

Responsibilities

Provide instrumentation and process control support for manufacturing and utility systems.
Calibrate, install, troubleshoot, loop checking, programming, and document instrumentation.
Perform advanced calibration, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation.
Design, install, configure, and start up instruments and microprocessor-based controllers.
Maintain calibration records, instrument files, and technical documentation.
Maintain spare parts inventory for instrumentation and control equipment.
Assist with validation documentation for instrumentation and control systems.
Develop and maintain SOPs and technical procedures.
