Job summary

Asahi Kasei Plastics North America, Inc. is hiring a Senior Instrument and Electronics Technician to maintain processing and support equipment, including extruders and automated control systems. The role requires strong electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance expertise with exposure to high voltage equipment.

Qualifications

• Preferred: technical school training or equivalent with 5 years related work experience
• Minimum: High school diploma with 7 years related work experience
• Valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation and electrical maintenance on processing and support equipment
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex electrical systems (up to 480V) including motor, feeder, and extrusion control systems
• Interpret and update electrical drawings and PLC/machine controls
• Document repairs/PMs in eMaintenance system
• Operate PIV equipment (forklifts, scissor lift, boom truck, etc.)
• Adhere to arc flash safety standards
• Provide training to maintenance personnel on E&I systems
