Job summary

Asahi Kasei Plastics North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Instrument and Electronics Technician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical and control systems across processing equipment. Typical shift is 8 hours daily, with afternoon hours and flexibility for start/end times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 7 years of related work experience.
• Technical school training or equivalent with 5 years related work experience preferred.
• Valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all APNA safety guidelines and plan safety into projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of processing and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex electrical and control systems.
• Operate PIV equipment (forklifts, scissor lift, articulating boom truck, portable hoist, cherry picker).
• Document repairs and PMs with eMaintenance system.
• Train other maintenance personnel on I&E systems.
• Interpret and update electrical drawings.
• Adhere to arc flash safety standards.
