Job summary

Asahi Kasei Plastics North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Multicraft Maintenance Technician for our Michigan operation. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical upkeep of processing and plant support systems, including extruders, air systems, and vacuum networks.

Safety and reliability are prioritized in daily tasks. You will troubleshoot complex controls, update HMI/PLC logic, and train junior staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 7 years related work experience.
• Preferred technical school training with 5+ years experience.
• Valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on processing and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical/control systems up to 480V.
• Interpret electrical drawings and update PLC/machine controls.
• Train maintenance personnel on I&E systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow APNA safety guidelines.
