Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking an Instrument & Electrical Technical Field Advisor III to lead field safety, quality, and installation activities on major power projects in the Lake Mary, FL area.
The role focuses on instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems across gas and steam turbine projects. The ideal candidate has 8+ years I&E field experience on large EPC projects and strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills to drive first‑time quality and zero
Qualifications
- 8+ years I&E field experience on large EPC projects.
- Experience with OEM GTCC installations, including DCS and field instrumentation.
- Ability to read/interpret technical procedures and reports.
- Travel up to 80% domestically and internationally.
- Strong leadership for safety, quality, and field execution.
Responsibilities
- Serve as site-level I&E authority for instrumentation, electrical, and control systems.
- Lead high-risk I&E work planning, energization, loop checks, and turnover.
- Drive a Zero Injuries mindset with JHAs and safe-work practices.
- Influence EPC contractors to meet safety, quality, and contractual obligations.
- Mentor I&E personnel and strengthen technical depth.
- Prepare daily reports and maintain punch lists.
