Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Technical Field Advisor II to support complex installations on large EPC projects. You will work on gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and auxiliary equipment, driving safety, quality, and on-time execution at the jobsite.

You will travel domestically and internationally for extended site assignments, coordinating with EPC leadership and field crews to mitigate risk and ensure project requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent construction experience.
• 3+ years of progressive mechanical field experience on large EPC power projects.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for 12–18 month assignments.
• OSHA 10-hour training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support during construction and commissioning of Mitsubishi Power equipment.
• Champion safety, equipment protection, and first-time quality on site.
• Lead and coordinate high-risk activities and critical lifts with site teams.
• Prepare daily construction and commissioning reports and close out field sign-offs.
