Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Richland, WA is seeking a Senior Instrument & Controls Engineer to lead design teams for grassroots and revamp projects across the EPC lifecycle, from Front End Planning to construction support. You will develop instrumentation and control system deliverables, coordinate with suppliers and field teams, and ensure design compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• FE exam completed with 7+ years electrical engineering experience and EPC project experience.
• Master's in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years EPC project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead instrumentation engineering/design deliverables (Instrument Index, Data Sheets, Installation Details, Location Plans, Wiring/Loop Diagrams).
• Lead control systems (DCS/PLC) and CEMS data sheets.
• Lead I&C purchase specifications, review bids, and manage vendor documentation.
