Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks a Manager, Instrument & Controls Engineering to lead development, implementation, and maintenance of control systems, SIS, and instrumentation across our operations in Houston, TX. The role emphasizes process automation, advanced process control, and functional safety aligned with industry standards.

The ideal candidate has extensive LNG experience and a proven track record managing large I&C systems from design to steady state operations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in a senior engineering capacity with Instrument & Controls equipment in industrial engineering or operations.
• Oil & Gas experience required, LNG preferred, petrochemical/cryogenic exposure acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of motors, gas turbines, and compressors.
• CMMS familiarity and RCFA capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME guidance on Instrument & Controls system engineering issues.
• Develop and implement instrumentation, control, and safety system strategies.
• Oversee obsolescence management and technology upgrades.
• Optimize control performance to improve plant reliability and efficiency.
• Support maintenance and operations teams for operability and RCFA investigations.
