Job summary

Unknown is seeking an experienced Instrument & Control Technician II (Senior Technician) to maintain DCS and CEMS at a simple-cycle gas power plant in San Diego, CA. This on-site role focuses on safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, review P&ID's, troubleshoot instrumentation, coordinate work activities, and support plant operations.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree with 5+ years of power plant or industrial electrical/instrumentation experience.
• Experience with DCS systems such as GE Mark VI and ABB Bailey INFI 90.
• Familiarity with Teledyne Monitor Labs CEMS controls and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Administer processes and procedures under O&M Manager guidance.
• Complete required qualification within 2 years of hire.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot using test equipment and manuals.
• Review P&ID drawings and logic diagrams.
• Coordinate job activities and report progress.
• Maintain calibration, tests, and documentation records.
• Travel as needed for work assignments.
